How to Make Chicken Tikka Biryani – Step-by-Step

Step 1: Marinate the Chicken

The chicken can be baked or air-fried as a healthier preparation method.

Step 3: Cook the Rice

Boil water in a large pot. Add salt and whole spices. After the water boils you should add the soaked rice to cook until it reaches the 90% stage. Drain and keep aside.

Step 4: Layer the Biryani

In a heavy-bottom pot or handi:

  1. Add the first layer of cooked rice.

  2. Add chicken tikka pieces.

  3. Add fried onions, mint, coriander, saffron milk on top of the layer and then add some ghee.
